My Story
Meet the Founder- Aishwarya A
I knew little peace growing up. The only thing that excited me was reading and writing, especially because it was the one thing my very strict convent school teachers nurtured and encouraged. I owe my love for reading and writing to my sister and the most outlandish tales of valour passed on to me by my boisterous grandfather. These were the happy times. Other times, the sole expectation from me was to ace every exam, every year. Best colleges guarantee success- or so I was told. So I went to two of them and started working at 21.

At 22, I had a rude awakening . Until then I Had only done what was expected of me while life passed me by. Seeking meaning and wanting to bring about change, I pursued law. Politically charged and blatantly sexist, my college gave me a voice- what else do you do when you are pushed against a wall? Somewhere in the last decade, I started observing, listening, and reading about the experiences and silent struggles of the women around me. Could I say something to make them feel better? What would they have to say about my journey?
Is there a manual to navigate your life as the "fairer sex" in a world not particularly designed for them? Questions like these left me wondering. Also, I always have a lot to say. As the family lore goes, I wanted to talk since before I could talk! I was an animated toddler who hadn't discovered speech yet. Here's to hoping that this platform offers wisdom where it's needed, little pick-me-ups when we are down and a constant source of fun, inspiration and support.
