Weekly round-up of funny, crazy and, well, important things.

How has your week been? Did you come across anything interesting in the hallowed halls of the internet?

  • I watched The Life of Chuck for Tom Hiddleston. I ended up liking it for just about everything. It felt fresh to go to a theatre for a movie that does not claim to be a larger-than-life blockbuster. It’s pure cinema– beautiful and tender. Oh, and the dance!

  • Tell me this isn’t funny

  • Downton Abbey is cominggg and so is Gilded Age Season 3! Julian Fellowes should have been our history teacher.

  • A neighbour donated this poster to me. Isn’t this super cool?

I am a proud possessor of a gigantic Star Trek poster that my neighbour got from China.

  • Book haul!

Can't wait to read these! Have you read any of these?

  • Feminism and the great American circus that is politics

  • Read about the efforts of creatives trying to preserve Bombay’s heritage buildings and culture amidst rapid redevelopment

  • Single women are happier than single men. This study proves it.

  • Sitting in Bangalore, how am I the target for this advertisement? I will never know. But for an economy surviving solely on foreign aid, this is one jazzy government office. Ah, and the lies and levity of the situation, as if our countries didn’t just come back from the brink of a war.

What part of the internet caught your eye in the last week?
